SAMBAR DEER TOP

Coralsea Safaris conducts Sambar hunts in the state of Victoria in Australia, which has the largest population of Wild Huntable Sambar in the world, and it is growing every year.
Coralsea Safaris prefers a minimum of a 10 day hunt, 1 x 1 basis, but hunts can be individually customised to suit hunters.
A Sambar Stag is recognised as the premium game animal of the South Pacific

SEASON
There is no set season for hunting but the best time is between April and December

ACCOMODATION
Hotel/Motel accommodation or Safari Bush camp, depending on the location

CONDITIONS/CLOTHING
Cold and Wet weather conditions are very common in the winter months, so it is advised that you bring good waterproof clothing and foot wear.

HOG DEER TOP

Coralsea Safaris conducts wild and free range Hog Deer hunts on the coastal Fringes of Victoria, in farmland and forest. This is one of the very few places in the world that you can hunt the wild Hog Deer.
Coralsea Safaris prefers a minimum of a 10 day hunt, 1 x 1 basis, but hunts can be customised to suit individual hunters. Non hunters are welcome.

METHOD OF HUNTING
Stalking, Still Hunting and Glassing is the hunting method.

SEASON
The season opens on the 1st April and closes on the 30th April. Tags are required and limit per hunter is one male and one female.
Coralsea Safaris can organise these tags for you.

ACCOMODATION
Hotel/Motel accommodation or Safaris Bush Camps, depending on the location, or your personal preference.

CONDITIONS/CLOTHING
April is normally mild weather, but cold snaps can occur, so it is advised that you bring good waterproof clothing and foot wear

Firearm Import and Export permits are required for Australia
A Victorian Game Licence and Shooters license is required.

BUFFALO TOP

Coralsea Safaris conducts Buffalo Hunts in the Northern Territory of Australia. There are two areas that can be hunted.

A Cattle station, bordering Arnhamland, with very large tracks of land which can be hunted on.
Another area is the Tribal land of native people in the Northern Territory.
Coralsea Safaris conducts 1 x 1 or 2 x 1 basis of a 7 day hunt and non hunters are most welcome

METHOD OF HUNTING
Driving in 4x4 to hunting area then glassing & stalking is the normal procedure for Buffalo hunting

SEASON
The season depends on the weather and the wet season, but normally from May - September is good for hunting, but hunting is permitted all year around.

TROPHY QUALITY
Buffalo trophy normally ranges between 90 - 105 + Score

ACCOMMODATION
There are two types of accommodation, Bungalow style or tented camps, depending on the area to be hunted.

CONDITIONS/CLOTHING
Weather is usually warm to hot so light weight clothing is required, and light strong foot wear, similar to Africa

FIREARM
Buffalo are dangerous game and a wounded Buffalo is a very dangerous animal. Coralsea Safaris would prefer that you use the largest calibre firearm you are comfortable with. Coralsea Safaris have firearms available to suit eg: 458 WIN MAG, 388 WIN MAG at no extra cost.
Firearm Import and Export permits are required for Australia
A current state shooters licence is required, for hunting in the Northern Territory.

BARRAMUNDI TOP

One of Australia's best places for Barramundi Fishing is in the Northern Territory.
Fishing maybe conducted during the hunt at no extra cost, in the surrounding billabongs and rivers, or Coralsea Safaris can organise a separate fishing trip, before or after the hunt, from Darwin. We have access to full time fishing guides in Darwin

ACCOMMODATION
You can be picked up daily from your Hotel in Darwin or stay in an out back Hotel with accommodation, or Fishing Camps.

SEASON
There is no season on fishing, but the preferred times is from March - December.

CONDITIONS/CLOTHING
Due to warm to hot weather, normal tropical clothing is required.

FISHING GEAR
Rods and lures are provided, but you may be required to replace any lost lures. If you wish, you can bring your own fishing gear.

AXIS /CHITAL DEER TOP

Coralsea Safaris conduct Wild and Free Chital hunts in Queensland Australia, which is the largest wild herd of Chital in the South Pacific. These hunts are conducted on very large cattle stations, where the deer can roam freely from property to property. Coralsea Safaris conducts hunts on a 1 x 1 or 2 x 1 basis, of a 5 day hunt, and non hunters are most welcome

METHOD OF HUNTING


Driving in 4x4 to hunting area then glassing & stalking is the normal procedure for Chital hunting.

ACCOMMODATION
Tented Safari Camps are provided, but it is possible to arrange more comfortable lodging if required.

SEASON
There is no season for the Chital Deer and hunts can be conducted all year around.

CONDITIONS/CLOTHING

Normal summer lightweight hunting clothing is recommended.

Preferred Calibre is 243 WIN, upwards.

PIG, FOX AND RABBIT TOP

Coralsea Safaris conducts Pig, Fox and Rabbit hunts on large Sheep & Cattle stations in the Central and Southern areas of New South Wales. Open plain country and flat to undulating country with patches of thick bush and River frontage.
Coralsea Safaris conduct 1 x 1 or 2 x 1 hunts, and non hunters are most welcomed

METHOD OF HUNTING
Driving in 4x4 to hunting area then glassing & stalking is the normal procedure of hunting.
Spotlighting at night is also legally permitted.

ACCOMMODATION
An outback Hotel Bungalow with good meals or a Safari Bush Camp

SEASON

There is no season, and can be hunted all year around.

CONDITIONS/CLOTHING
Depending on the time of the year, the summer months of Nov- April can be very hot, so light weight clothing is required, May - Oct, mild to cool, so warmer clothing is required.

FIREARMS

There is no set Calibre for this type of hunting, so whichever firearms you prefer to bring.

Wild Goat

POSSUM/WALLABY TOP

Coralsea Safaris conduct Possum & Wallaby hunts in the Island State of Tasmania Australia, which has a very pleasant cool climate.
Hunting on private estates in Tasmania, which is known for it's early Australia History and Tourism. Possum and wallaby can be found in large number, throughout the island and destruction permits are authorised to landowners.
Coralsea Safaris conduct a 1 x 1 or 2 x 1 hunt, and non-hunters are most welcome.

METHOD OF HUNTING
Driving in 4x4 to hunting area then glassing & stalking is the normal procedure of hunting.
Spotlighting at night is also legally permitted, on private land for vermin.

ACCOMMODATION
Staying in country style Hotel/Motel with meals. Scenic walks and drives can be conducted during the hunt

CONDITIONS/CLOTHING
The weather can be cool, wet and windy, so warm clothing is required.

SEASON
There is no season, but the best months are the winter months from May to September as the grasses are shorter.

FIREARMS
Small calibre eg: 22 RIM firearm for possums
222 or 223 for wallaby

Fallow Deer run wild and free on many properties and the season is March only Fishing in the state of Tasmania is regarded as the best area for Trout in Australia.
Most properties have excellent Trout Holes for the fisherman.

Coralsea Safaris conducts Game Farm Hunts in Australia.

These hunts are suited to clients who have limited time and mobility.
Excellent Trophy quality is available.
Possibility of shooting a number of trophies in a short time is the advantage of these Game Farms.

AREA

In excess of 50,000 acres of land, from gentle undulating country, to large open spaces and timber areas. It is possible to drive over all of the property and conduct a very pleasant non-strenuous hunt. There are several thousand Deer on the property, with the largest number of Trophy Red Stags.

ACCOMMODATION
Beach view Hotel/Motel accommodation in a small near by village, approx 30 minute drive from the game farm, or if the Client prefers, there is Shearers Quarters accommodation style lodging, on the property.

CONDITIONS/CLOTHING

The weather is warm to mild, with some cold windy days in the winter months of May - July, so depending on the time of the year you decide to travel, as to clothing you bring.
