John Clark's
Coralsea
Safaris,
offers you a wide variety of species for hunting in the
South Pacific, including Australia and New Caledonia.
Hunting with
Coralsea Safaris offers you a range from hunting
in cool mountainous ranges in Victoria, to open plain hunting
in the warmth of Northern Territory, to a tropical island
hunt in New Caledonia. With your hunt, you will see some
of the most picturesque country of mountain ranges to the
golden beaches, lakes and rivers.
Since 1974, I
have been in the hunting business as a professional meat
and skin shooter for Kangaroo, Fox and Rabbit. In 1988,
I started to take people on local hunting trips and my business
has slowly grown from there, hunting all over Australia
and New Caledonia.
I live in the
prime area for Sambar Deer in Victoria and currently hold
the SCI NO1 Sambar, which
I took on a weekend hunting trip in 1994. In 1996 I was
awarded with the SCI trophy for the 1995-96 Major Award
of 1st place for South Pacific free range, for my Sambar
which scored 181 4/8 SCI. The Sambar population is steadily
increasing in our area.
Wild & Free Hunts
are conducted in the different States of Australia, and
free range Javan Rusa Deer are hunted
in New Caledonia. Accommodation ranges from Hotel/Motel to
well equipped Safari Camps, depending on the species to be
hunted. Game Farm Hunting is conducted on approx. 50,000 acres,
with seaside Hotel/Motel accommodation and meals, near by,
or camping
on the property if preferred. There are several smaller game
farms available, if required.
TAXIDERMY
When I am not on Safaris Hunts, I am busy with Taxidermy
work of animals for past Clients, which I have guided. If
the Client prefers to use their own Taxidermist, all care
is taken to ensure the Trophy is correctly packed and shipped
to its destination.
